Meet Mark Sakabe, DDS

Dr. Sakabe grew up in Southern California where he went to Pacific Palisades High. He later went to University of Southern California for college and then attended Marquette University Dental School. Dr. Sakabe enjoys family life as well as practicing dentistry. He feels blessed to have a career that can give his patients confidence with a beautiful smile! Dr. Sakabe has taken courses with the best cosmetic dentists in the nation. He also enjoys all kinds of sports and music. His main goal is to keep patients smiling and as comfortable as possible.

Meet Ben Young

Dr. Ben combines a passion for cutting-edge technology with a genuinely charismatic approach to patient care. A graduate of the University of the Pacific, Dr. Ben has a real passion for the surgical side of dentistry, including procedures like wisdom teeth extractions and dental implants. He is dedicated to integrating the latest advancements to make treatment more comfortable and precise for every patient. In his free time, Dr. Ben enjoys playing with his mini Australian Shepherd and unwinding on the golf course.

Meet Laura Ye

Dr. Laura loves helping patients achieve the smile of their dreams. Specializing in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, and root canal therapy, she brings a gentle and artistic touch to her work. Her dedication to clinical excellence was recognized with the prestigious Henry A. Sutro Award for best clinical presentation. Outside the office, Dr. Laura’s eye for detail extends to her love for cooking, design, and travel.

Community Service

All the doctors at Huntington Beach Dental Center feel they should give back to the community. Dr. Young and Dr. Sakabe have spent several years working with Assistance League giving free dentistry to children who are in need of dental treatment. Great staff and Dr Mark was very efficient and kind. They make you feel like your family and are actually concerned with your needs. They are also very upfront with pricing. I’ve had a fear of going back to the dentist for years and Dr Mark S was amazing!!!

I love this office. I’ve been going to this group of doctors for over 30 years! They make you feel comfortable if you’re there for a simple cleaning or something more aggressive like tooth extractions or root canals. Huntington Beach dental Center, I'm an older fella so I've been to a few dentists in my life, This dental office is amazing, To me, they are the best hands-down! I don't think I've ever felt any pain, They quite often asked , let us know if you have any pain, They are absolutely the best in my opinion and the staff is the best. Also, they are very kind and humble people and I love coming to this office, Great doctors great staff! Keep up the excellent work!

HB Dental is great! LOVE my hygienist Georgette as she is gentle and thorough and personable as are the rest of the staff who have worked on my teeth. I recently had the need for 6 teeth to be bonded to deal with my receding gum line and both Dr Maryanne Young and Dr Ben Young did the work quickly and painlessly and at reasonable prices.

So glad I picked this dentist office, everyone there is great and they did a great job on my front teeth. Had to remove the veneers on my 4 front teeth and replace. No pain at all all! The whole process from start to finish was 3 hours and I was comfortable the whole time.

Dentist and staff are attentive and skilled. I give them high marks across the board. The are very efficient when it comes to time management as well.
